Chip attended The York Academy of Arts where he graduated with honors in 1972. From 1972 through 1977 he worked as a designer with several agencies including Grafica Commercial Arts Inc., and Harriet, Herbert & Lawrence Advertising. It was during that span that Chip also attended The Philadelphia College of Art concentrated studies in advanced graphic design and color theory.
In 1977 Chip started his freelance business with 3 accounts, the largest of which was National Liberty Corporation. After 6 months, National Liberty recruited Chip to design for them full time in a freelance capacity. In 1980, he was hired on staff where he earned a promotion in 1985 to Art Director of 3rd Party Business and was responsible for a staff of 9 designers.
In 1991, Chip founded Beaver Design Group, Inc. He brought over 20 years of proven creative experience and comprehensive knowledge of graphic design, direct response advertising, computer graphics and production capabilities to the business. In a relatively short time, the account base grew from 3 accounts to 21 accounts in 1994.
From 1994 to present, BDG's talented staff, creative capabilities and client roster have grown in size and reputation as a results-oriented creative company. Chip is committed to his clients' sales and marketing objectives, their bottom line and maintaining a high-level of business integrity. Presently, Chip concentrates his focus on developing new business opportunities and assuring the continued successes of his existing client roster.
